Jasmin Sanchez
Jasmin is a lifelong resident of Baruch Houses on NYC's Lower East Side. She is the Director of Youth Services at the Greenwich House. Jasmin is the Founder of the ALG Community Center, Lady Tigers Softball & Co-Founder of LES Mutual Aid.
Beyond this work, Jasmin has worked on political campaigns for AOC where she launched her Mutual Aid Network in 2020, expanded the electorate as the NYCHA Field Director by 25%-50%, and trained and recruited volunteers.
Jasmin is the Speaker for Movimiento Victoria Ciudadana's Diaspora Network focused on the rescuing of public institutions, decolonization, and the economic, social and fiscal reconstruction.
Locally, Jasmin has worked on the Green New Deal for Public Housing a federal bill for the investment in public housing, education equity, East River Park Alliance, Save Mt Sinai & NYEEI, BLM actions and climate justice.

VP of Operations
Magda Napoleon
Magda Napoleon is the current Female Democratic District Leader of Part B in the 65th Assembly District.
Magda is a Board Member of Friends of 12th Park which is an organization that focuses on providing community events to children and families, year round. She attends PSA 4 meetings which covers the NYCHA developments within the Lower East Side and attends the 7th precinct community council meetings.
Magda has held 4 Voter Registration Drives, registered 137 young people under 30 to vote, hosted turkey giveaways, attended 5 NYCHA family days, over 10 NYCHA association meetings, hosted a Poll Worker Education Session, and authored a statement to the Department of Transportation and the community board about speed bumps around school zones and crosswalks where older adults cross.
Magda is very active in the Why Not Care LES United Festival that happens in August.

Grauven Olivares
Grauven's role as Vice President of the Community Education Council 1 is vital in shaping educational policies and advocating for the needs of schools. This position enables her to collaborate with educators, parents, and community members to the quality of education.
Additionally, as a member of Community Board 3, Grauven plays a crucial part in addressing community concerns, facilitating development projects, and ensuring that the voices of residents are heard in local governance.
Together, these roles empower her to drive positive change and support the growth of a thriving community.

Charisse King
One of Charisse's many passions is investing in residents and the community. This is crucial for fostering sustainable growth and enhancing quality of life. When resources are directed towards community development, it empowers individuals, encourages local participation and builds trust among residents which is why Charisse is in constant communication with stakeholders, residents and community agencies.
Charisse has a passion for serving older adults since they are aging in place with limited resources.
Charisse understands that a strong, engaged community is better equipped to address challenges and seize opportunities for collective advancement.

Roberto P. Caballero
Roberto is dedicated enhancing the quality of life for seniors through his expert management of a Naturally Occurring Community (NORC) center. He focuses on creating a welcoming environment where older adults can access essential services, social activities, and support.
With his strong leadership skills and commitment to community engagement, Roberto ensures that the NORC center serves as a vital resource for residents, promoting independence and connection among seniors. His passion for helping others shines in every aspect of his work.

Dallas Short
Dallas has dedicated the last decade to volunteering with Henry Street Settlement, participating in numerous community events that have made a significant impact. Dallas' passion to serving the community highlights the importance of grassroots involvement in fostering positive change and supporting those in need.
Through his efforts, Dallas not only helps to uplift individuals but also strengthens community bonds, creating a more connected and resilient environment for everyone.

Desiree Hollingsworth
Desiree is a graduate student at Hunter's School of Social Work. She is passionate about dance, youth development and music.
Desiree has volunteered for local organizations as a dance instructor in genres such as hip hop, salsa, bachata and expressive movement.

Joann Serrano
In her role, Joann has been able to work with various partners to launch a comms rollout, rebrand the club & is very intentional about how 3BDC interacts visually with the community.
Joann started in communications a year ago and has recently transitioned into a new role of MarComm.

Teacher by day, data guru by night, James in an expert in data, visualization, field and campaign strategy.
James has led the way on our candidate bios and dossiers over the last year.
